Near review time everyone says the same thing: "looking back, it feels like I didn't do much." Usually not true — you just didn't write it down.
I add one line whenever I finish something: what it was, and what changed. Small wins (automating a chore, catching a bug before it shipped) vanish first, so I catch them same-day.
Those lines pile up into a resume, a self-review, a raise conversation. You're not exaggerating your work — just making it sound exactly as good as it was.
